When we moved in to our house, we knew that we wanted to renovate our downstairs bathroom. It wasn’t much to look at, with it’s vinyl floor, builder grade cabinet, and plain white walls.
We got to work by removing the flooring, baseboards, toilet, cabinet, and mirror. Since it was our guest bathroom, we wanted to take the opportunity to go bold and make a statement. After discussing a few options, we decided to go with a buffalo check tile pattern, which is classic enough to withstand the test of time, but bold enough to make a statement.
Paired with a new floating cabinet, minty green walls, taller baseboards, and vintage art, this space make a big impact.
