I love how this bedroom turned out with it’s layered, broken-in, vintage, and soulful vibe.
This client was getting married and wanted to create a master bedroom that appealed to both masculine & feminine tastes. We mixed modern & traditional pieces and kept the color palette fairly neutral with just a pop of yellow to brighten up the space. We commissioned a calligrapher to hand letter the couple’s favorite song lyric which turned out to be the shining jewel of the space!
My client had an seldom used space that she wanted to convert into a sitting room for her family to enjoy, centered around their piano.
Here is a BEFORE picture of the space:
And here’s how it looks now!
This client already had some great pieces, like the chest, mirrors, and ghost chair, so we simply fleshed out the space by bringing in a few pieces. The comfortable club chairs are great for lounging by the windows and the coffee table is perfect for her children to gather around for games. The rug grounds the space and pulls the color palette together while the pouf is great for extra seating or as an ottoman.
